Xander Schauffele What's In The Bag

Xander Schauffele landed his first major victory when winning the USPGA Championship in May 2024. A look at Xander Schauffele: What’s In The Bag.

Schauffele produced a record major-winning score of 21-under par at Valhalla Country Club for a one-shot victory in the 2024 PGA Championship.

The American had started the tournament with a stunning round of 62, but still needed a birdie on the last hole to defeat Bryson DeChambeau by a shot.

It was Schauffele’s first major success to go along side gold in the 2020 Olympic Games, and saw him move up to a career high second place in the Official Golf Rankings.

The PGA Championship success was his 11th career win in total including eight on the PGA Tour.

He won the 2017 Greenbrier Classic, 2017 Tour Championship, 2018 WGC-HSBC Champions, 2019 Sentry Tournament of Champions, 2022 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, 2022 Travelers Championship and 2022 Genesis Scottish Open.

Schauffele’s other wins came in the 2015 Northern California Open, 2020 Olympic Games, which were held in 2021, and the 2022 J. P. McManus Pro-Am.

Schauffele, who announced a clothing deal with Descente in 2024, is also a two-time Ryder Cup player in 2021 and 2023 and Presidents Cup star in 2019 and 2022.
