The event, which was previously known as Made In Himmerland and Made In Denmark, first joined the European Tour in 2014 and is part of the 2026 DP World Tour season once again.
The tournament moves to a new home for the second year running with Great Northern replacing Furesø Golf Klub as the host of Denmark‘s national championship.
Marco Penge is the reigning champion after winning the tournament in 2025 and is among the betting odds favourites for 2026.
Former winners of the event include Marc Warren, David Horsey, Thomas Pieters, Julian Suri, Matt Wallace, Bernd Wiesberger, Oliver Wilson, Rasmus Hojgaard and Frederic Lacroix.

Danish Golf Championship Format & Schedule
The Danish Golf Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Great Northern Golf Club in Denmark. There is a cut after the opening two rounds.

- Day 4 – Sunday, August 16
