Released along with the new AI Smoke drivers range, fairway woods and irons, the rescues feature three separate models – the AI Smoke, AI Smoke HL and AI Smoke Max Fast to cater for all types of golfer.

An extension of the existing Paradym hybrids series, the latest rescues feature a new AI face design process called AI Smart Face, which replaces Jailbreak Technology and features multiple sweet spots.

Callaway Paradym AI Smoke Hybrids Specs & Design

The AI Smoke hybrids is the standard model of the new range of rescues with distance and adjustability the promise from this model.

Callaway have introduced the AI design known as Smart Face to replace Jailbreak Technology, with the new feature providing multiple sweet spots across the face to provide maximum forgiveness and ball speed.

The clubhead in the AI Smoke has been made slightly bigger than the Paradyms to provide a hint more forgiveness in this later model.

There is a new Tungsten Speed Cartridge at the rear of the clubhead to help reposition the center of gravity both low and forward to deliver fast ball speeds with low spin.

Callaway have also tweaked the sole of these hybrids to have a more pronounced camber for better turf interaction and contact whether used from fairways or rough.

The high launching rescues offer a high level of forgiveness and are best suited to golfers with average to fast swing speeds.

The AI Smoke HL model is the high launch version of the rescues with this version decided to fly high and long.

The HL is suited to golfers with average swing speeds who are seeking more carry distances in their long game, and Callaway help achieve that via a high launching flight.

This model has a shallower profile that is flatter in shape, but is equally oversized for greater confidence at address.

This fairway generates moderate spin levels off the new AI Smart Face, which provides more forgiveness and accuracy thanks to multiple sweet spots.

It also has the new Tungsten Speed Cartridge at the rear of the clubhead to reposition the center of gravity both low and forward with fast ball speeds with low spin and improved turf interaction from a new sole design.

The Max Fast is a lightweight option designed to help golfers with slower swings generate maximum speed through the air.

A new addition into the 2024 series, it is a similar concept to the Titleist TSR1 hybrids and helps increase swing speeds to generate more distance in your long game.

Callaway have removed as much weight as possible to help make this AI Smoke model fast through the air and add speed to the swings of golfers who need it most.

The crown on this version is flat and shallower to help promote a high launch – the highest of any model – and low spin off the face to.

It has no adjustability with a fixed hosel and weight, with this another reason Callaway have managed to keep the weight down in this model.

The AI Smart Face is present to add multiple sweet spots of this shallow face design in order to maintain those ball speeds for golfers who really need that bit of assistance.

Callaway have found some excellent performance gains in the new AI Smoke hybrids with the new face technology helping make these more consistent and accurate.

You might think that wasn’t east given how impressive the Paradym hybrids were, but the new 2024 models have incremental gains on distance and finding fairways.

The new AI Smoke fast is seriously impressive with the multiple sweet spots meaning we maintained balls speeds, no matter where we struck the ball from.

The introduction of a lightweight version in the Max Fast is an equally great move, opening this new addition up to golfers who wouldn’t previously have considered it.
