Lauren Coughlin: What’s In The Bag

Lauren Coughlin What's In The Bag

Lauren Coughlin secured her first win of 2025 when teaming up with Andrew Novak to take the title at the Grant Thornton Invitational in December 2025. A look at Lauren Coughlin: What’s In The Bag.

Coughlin teamed up with Novak in the annual year-ending Grant Thornton Invitational with the American pairing becoming the third winners of the event.

They finished 28-under par at Tiburon Golf Club to win the 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational by three shots from Jennifer Kupcho and Chris Gotterup, Nelly Korda and Denny McCarthy and Charley Hull and Michael Brennan.

Coughlin’s previous win came back in August 2024 when claiming the second LPGA Tour title of her career.

The American had not managed to make a breakthrough since making her LPGA debut in 2018, but she ended the wait when winning the CPKC Women’s Open in July 2024.

She made it two wins in less than a month when romping to a four shot victory over Esther Henseleit at Dundonald Links in the Women’s Scottish Open.

Coughlin graduated from the University of Virginia in 2016, ending her time there as an All-American and as the 2016 ACC individual champion.

She started her professional career on the Symetra Tour (now the Epson Tour) and won the 2018 PHC Classic. In the same year, she came through Q-School to earn her spot on the LPGA Tour.
