The Spaniard held his nerve down the stretch at Dubai Creek Resort to win the opening tournament of the 2026 DP World Tour season.

Elvira finished on 10-under par in the 2026 Dubai Invitational to seal a one-shot victory over Daniel Hillier after Shane Lowry double bogeyed the final hole when leading by one.

Elvira’s first DP World Tour win came in 2021 when he landed the Cazoo Open following a play-off with Justin Harding.

The Spaniard then landed the title at the Soudal Open in Belgium in 2024.

He also has four Challenge Tour wins following victories in the 2013 Foshan Open, 2015 Challenge de Madrid,2015 Kärnten Golf Open and 2015 Rolex Trophy.
