Seed SD-05 Golf Balls Review

Seed SD-05 golf balls is a tour level three-piece model with a low compression and is available at a fraction of the cost of bigger named brand.

This ball is a three-piece model from Seed and is the similar to Callaway’s Chrome Soft ball – just at a cheaper price point.

We tested the latest SD-05 to see how they perform versus models of a similar compression and design and discover that they very much are underrated and excellent value for money.

Seed SD-05 Golf Balls Review: Are they any good?

The SD-05 is one of the mass market options from Seed but it is one of the best sellers too and for a good reason as it suits a range of handicap golfers.

It is one of the softest options and performs very well on all fronts from distance off the tee to soft, spin rates around the green.

In testing, the SD-05 more than stood up to the Chrome Soft and Titleist’s Tour Soft on a lot of aspects and more than lives up to the hype as being incredible value for money.
