Sepp Straka landed the fourth PGA Tour victory of his career when winning the Truist Championship in May 2025. A look at Sepp Straka: What’s In The Bag.
It was Straka’s second win of 2025 after ended 18 months without a victory when landing the 2025 The American Express at La Quinta Country Club in California in January.
At Philadelphia Cricket Club in May, Straka scooped the biggest prize of his career as he took the title at the $20million Signature Truist Championship event by two shots from Justin Thomas and Shane Lowry.
In February 2022, Straka recorded a one shot victory over Shane Lowry in the Honda Classic at the PGA National to become the first Austrian to win on the PGA Tour.
Straka then shot a stunning closing round of 62 – including a double bogey at the 18th hole – to win the John Deere Classic by two shots from Brendon Todd and Aaron Smalley in July 2023.
He started 2025 in the best possible way by winning The American Express and added his first Signature Event title when taking victory at the Truist Championship.
Straka’s only other professional victory came on the Korn Ferry Tour when winning the KC Golf Classic in 2018 prior to gaining his PGA Tour card.
Straka was part of the winning European team at the 2023 Ryder Cup.
