Already a winner on the PGA Tour following victories in the Puerto Rico Open and Mayakoba Classic, Hovland now has a European Tour win on his CV.
The 23-year-old became the first-ever Norwegian golfer to win on the European Tour when triumphing in Germany this weekend on what was his 17th start on the tour.
Hovland recorded a two shot victory over Martin Kaymer, who came from the clouds with an eight under par final round at Golfclub München Eichenried.
