McIlroy has claimed four wins in 2025 after winning the Pebble Beach Pro Am on his first start of the 2025 PGA Tour season and then a Monday play-off finish to land The Players Championship.
The world number two completed the career grand slam of golf’s majors when winning The 2025 Masters in dramatic fashion in April in a play-off with Justin Rose.
It was again a play-off in the Irish Open on the DP World Tour with McIlroy sinking a final hole eagle to finish level with Joakim Lagergren at The K Club before winning his second Irish Open title at the third extra hole.
At the season-ended DP World Tour Championship, McIlroy was beaten in a play-off by Matt Fitzpatrick but it was a result that sealed a seventh Race To Dubai title for the points standings.
McIlroy had ended his 2024 campaign by winning the DP World Tour Championship for the third time in November and claiming a sixth Race To Dubai title in the process.
Also in 2024, McIlroy landed the Dubai Desert Classic for the third time in his career, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans along with Shane Lowry and the Wells Fargo Championship.
In total, McIlroy now has 45 career victories including his five majors at the 2011 US Open, 2012 and 2014 USPGA Championship, the 2014 Open Championship and the 2025 Masters
The Northern Irishman has won DP World Tour titles in the 2009, 2015, 2023 and 2024 Dubai Desert Classic, 2011 UBS Hong Kong Open, 2012, 2015 and 2024 DP World Tour Championship, 2014 BMW PGA Championship and 2016 and 2025 Irish Open.
He also landed victory in the 2023 Scottish Open, which is co-sanctioned with the PGA Tour.
His other PGA Tour victories have come in the 2010, 2015, 2021 and 2024 Wells Fargo Championship, 2012 The Honda Classic, 2012 and 2016 Deutsche Bank Championship, 2012 BMW Championship, 2014 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and 2015 WGC-Cadillac Match Play.
McIlroy has also won 2016, 2019 and 2022 Tour Championship, 2018 Arnold Palmer Invitational, 2019 and 2025 The Players Championship, 2019 and 2022 RBC Canadian Open, 2019 WGC-HSBC Champions, 2021 and 2022 CJ Cup, 2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans and 2025 Pebble Beach Pro Am.
