Will Zalatoris: What’s In The Bag

Will Zalatoris Bag

Will Zalatoris finally ended his wait for a PGA Tour win when landing the title at the FedEx St Jude Championship in August 2022. A look at Will Zalatoris: What’s In The Bag.

American Zalatoris had suffered play-offs defeats in the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open and then at the 2022 USPGA Championship when losing to Justin Thomas in the three-hole decider at Southern Hills.

Zalatoris also finished second to Hideki Matsuyama in the 2021 Masters, and again to Matt Fitzpatrick in the 2022 US Open.

At the first FedEx Cup Playoff of the PGA Tour season, Zalatoris was not to be denied as he beat Sepp Straka in a play-off at TPC Southwind.

The pair finished on 15-under par for the week and it was Zalatoris who lifted the rich prize at the third extra hole.

The win in the St Jude Championship moved Zalatoris up to a career high ninth in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Zalatoris’ only previous win of his professional career came on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2020 when landing the TPC Colorado Championship.

In 2024, Zalatoris signed a partnership with Lexus.
