The 2024 PGA Tour schedule moves to a calendar year programme and features 36 events throughout the new season, which runs from January to September.

The PGA Tour season kicks off with the annual New Year event the Sentry Tournament of Champions and concludes in September with the Tour Championship, the culmination of the FedEx Cup series.

There are 33 regular season events and three in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, the FedEx St Jude Championship, the BMW Championship and Tour Championship.

The qualification for those FedEx Playoffs will once again see just 70 players making the FedEx St Jude Championship, the field cut to 50 players for the BMW Championship and 30 in the season-ending Tour Championship.

Other changes to the season sees the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am joined the Signature Events, joining The Sentry, The Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, RBC Heritage, Wells Fargo Championship, the Memorial Tournament and Travelers Championship.

In changes to the calendar, the Mexico Open moves to February from April, the Houston Open moves to March from fall and the first-ever Myrtle Beach Classic is added on the same week as the Wells Fargo Championship.

The PGA Tour has a one week gap while the Olympics Golf Tournament is staged in Paris in late July and early August, while there is another event yet to be confirmed in July.

The events from September to November 2024 will once again be classified as the “Fall” element and the final events of the are known as “Challenge” events.
