It was two years since the American recorded his breakthrough success and this time it was his biggest prize with victory in the 2026 Hainan Classic.
Gumberg finished on 19-under par on the Blackstone Course at Mission Hills in China, edging out Jorge Campillo by a single shot.
Gumberg had never won on an elite tour prior to defeating Robin Williams in a play-off to win the 2024 SDC Championship.
The American came through the collegiate system at the University of Arizona before turning professional.
