Robert MacIntyre: What’s In The Bag

Robert MacIntyre What's In The Bag

Robert MacIntyre claimed his first PGA Tour win when landing the Canadian Open title in June 2024. A look at Robert MacIntyre: What’s In The Bag.

MacIntyre is playing in his first year on the PGA Tour in 2024 after stepping up from the DP World Tour and is now a winner after success at Hamilton Golf & Country Club.

The Scot finished on 16-under par in the 2024 Canadian Open, one shot clear of Ben Griffin, for an emotional success with his father Dougie caddying for him.

The win in the Canadian Open moved MacIntyre up from 76th to 39th in the Official World Golf Rankings.

MacIntyre is a two-time DP World Tour winner having claimed his first title in 2020 at the Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown.

His second success came courtesy of a play-off victory over Matt Fitzpatrick at the 2022 Italian Open at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.

It was at the same venue in Rome that MacIntyre made his 2023 Ryder Cup debut and was part of the winning European side.

Left-hander MacIntyre made his European Tour debut in 2019 when twice runner-up and named Rookie of the Year to win the Sir Henry Cotton award.
