Does Takomo Sell Golf Balls Yet?

Takomo Golf Balls

Takomo Golf lead the way when it comes to value-for-money golf clubs but the brand has not yet added golf balls to their product lineup.

The focus for the Takomo continues to be on their high-performing irons range that have really shot to prominence in recent years.

While Takomo have broadened their appeal by introducing drivers, fairway woods and wedges, golf balls have not yet been developed and are not openly available yet.

Will Takomo Golf start selling balls soon? There are no immediate plans to add balls to their range of products but they could well be an area of growth for the company in the coming years.

What Golf Clubs Do Takomo Sell?

The Takomo brand has gained recognition for combining Scandinavian design principles with modern technology to produce clubs that perform well without excessive bells and whistles.

The Takomo lineup is headed by the 101 irons, a hollow-body game-improvement set ideal for beginners and higher handicap players. The 101T iron sits between beginner and players’ irons as a premium distance iron.

For more advanced golfers, Takomo offers the forged player’s cavity back 201 irons and the 301 CB cavity backs and 301 MB muscle back irons that can be used in one combo set.

Takomo have subsequently added the Ignis D1 driver, which is not in its second generation, and Skyforger wedges, again which are into the second edition the SF002, to their offerings.

The entire product range deliver forgiveness, distance and control, with the principle of making golf more affordable for customers around the world.

Best Budget Golf Balls On The Market

There are a number of so-called “Challenger Brands” selling relatively cheap golf balls as alternatives to the dominant premium brands.

Should Takomo decide to enter the golf ball market, they would join the likes of specialists Vice, Cut, Seed, OnCore, Odin, Trust, Volvik and Snell in selling alternative golf balls.

Takomo would follow in the footsteps of PXG and XXIO if they were to become leading golf club manufactuer-turned golf ball producer.

PXG have brought the Xtreme ball to the market, while XXIO’s Rebound Drive ball is among the value options available.

Leading apparel brand Malbon have also dipped their toe into the golf ball market with the launch of their Tour M ball.

Amazon, meanwhile, have brought out their own Basics Core Soft ball to try and take a share of the market, just like the Member’s Mark golf ball does being stocked in Sam’s Club.
